BP restores most production at
Prudhoe after power outage shuts down field

BP has restored operations at the Prudhoe Bay field after an electrical power outage shut down the field Friday. Operations at most major production facilities were restored Monday and production is climbing back toward its normal rate of 320,000 barrels per day that is typical for this time of year, said company spokesman Steve Rinehart.
